Instructions for Loading BassetPro 3.3H
onto your Handheld Computer

Directory OPO33H holds BassetPro for the Psion Workabout.

To load the new software for the Psion, perform the following:

  1. Connect the Comms cable to the Psion RS-232 and PC Comm ports.

  2. Take out your program disk (slot B or bottom drive), turn on your Psion and simultaneously press the Psion+Ctrl+Delete keys. Once the large Psion Logo Screen comes up, press the menu key, select "System Screen" and press enter.

  3. Replace your program disk in your Psion. Simultaneously press Psion+F to format and then select "B" to format program pack "B".

  4. Simultaneously press Psion+L; select "Remote link" to on, Baud rate 19200 and Port "A". If "A" doesn't work, try "B" (port "C" if linked to docking station) and press Enter.

  5. On your PC, go to the DOS prompt and change the current directory to the one containing the files for the handheld (i.e. at the c prompt, type cd c:\OPO33H). Type the command "LOAD 1" if using Comm port 1 on the PC or type 'LOAD 2" if using Comm port 2 on the PC.

  6. Once the files are transferred to the Psion, reset the Psion by pressing Psion-Ctrl-Del.


PLEASE NOTE:
    If you are upgrading from a previous version, re-index the BassetPro data on your PC. Select File, then Reindex.
