Applications
SageData offer a wide variety of products, for applications including Asset Management, WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), Stores, Courier Tracking, Inspections, and Maintenance.
These diverse applications all share a common thread, a mobile element that uses hand held computers, and bar codes or RFID.
They also share a common technical base, a common underlying technology. The user interface of each application is designed for the specific application, but the common base provides a solid foundation, and reduces the cost of maintenance.
The primary applications are: BassetPro, WHiPPET, PICS and FiESTA.
BassetPro.
This is our flagship product - a system for managing your physical assets. The original Basset system was introduced in 1993. It has been re-designed and moved to new platforms several times, but still has the same characteristics of the early product - ease of use and reliability. BassetPro uses asset identification stickers with a unique identification code (UIC) in barcoded format to ensure that data can be collected quickly, easily and accurately. Comprehensive reporting is provided. A web option is available, giving remote access. Data can be exchanged with your existing back end system. BassetPro is designed for tracking UIC items, and can be configured to track SKU items as well.
Whippet
Whippet is the warehouse managemant system. It enables goods to be tracked through receiving and put away, through picking and shipping. It provides a web based order entry capability, particularly suitable for 3PL - third party logisitics operations. Comprehensive reporting is included, including the ability to provide billing information for individual clients. Whippet is designed for tracking SKU items, and can be configured to track UIC items as well.
FIESTA
Fiesta, for FIre Equipment STAtus tracking, is an inspection tool originally developed for tracking specifically fire prevention and control equipment - extinguishers, hoses and fire doors. Items and locations are identified with bar coded tags, and the inspector is advised by the system which items and locations are due for inspection. Specific guidance is give for each item to be inspected, and all results are retained, and can be printed for audit purposes.
PICS
For paperless inventory control system. This is a junior version of the whippet system, suitable for small in house stores, such as local stationery or equipment supply stores.
